Promotzy® is owned and operated by Thotic, Inc. ("Thotic," "Promotzy," "we," "our," or "us").

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for transactions made through the Promotzy platform.

Promotzy provides technology that enables event organizers to sell tickets, booths, sponsorships, and other event-related products. Promotzy is not the event organizer unless explicitly stated.

1. Organizer-Controlled Refunds

Refunds for tickets, booths, sponsorships, and other event-related purchases are determined solely by the event organizer.

Each organizer sets their own:

• Refund eligibility rules

• Refund timelines

• Cancellation and postponement policies

These policies are displayed at the time of purchase or made available by the organizer.

2. Promotzy's Role

• Promotzy facilitates payment processing through third-party providers (such as Stripe)

• Promotzy does not independently approve or deny refunds

• Promotzy does not guarantee refunds unless explicitly stated

Promotzy is not responsible for:

• Event cancellations or changes

• Organizer fulfillment

• Organizer refund decisions

3. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you are eligible for a refund:

1. Review the organizer's refund policy for the event

2. Contact the event organizer directly using the contact information provided in the event listing

Promotzy support may assist with routing inquiries but does not control refund outcomes.

4. Event Cancellations or Changes

In the event of:

• Event cancellation

• Event postponement

• Significant event changes

Refunds, credits, or alternative arrangements are determined by the organizer.

Promotzy is not liable for costs incurred due to event changes, including travel or accommodations.

5. Payment Processing & Timing

• Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method

Refund timing depends on:

○ Organizer approval

○ Payment processor timelines

○ Financial institution policies

Processing times may vary.

6. Fees & Non-Refundable Charges

• Promotzy service fees may be non-refundable unless required by law

• Third-party fees (payment processor fees, taxes) may not be refundable

Details are provided during checkout where applicable.

7. Chargebacks & Disputes

If a chargeback is initiated:

• The dispute may be reviewed by the payment processor

• Organizers may be required to provide supporting documentation

• Chargeback outcomes are determined by the payment processor

Promotzy reserves the right to limit or suspend accounts associated with excessive chargebacks or fraud.

8. Legal Rights

This Refund Policy does not limit any consumer rights provided under applicable law.
